The Strand-by Strand® HairGRAFT technique allows surgeons to master the transplant technique and create totally natural hairlines known as the ‘snail trail’. This technique earns its name because it mimics the natural hairline irregularity, ruling out a sharply defined edge.

A Strand-by-Strand® HairGRAFT transplant gives individual hairs correct orientation and is impossible to distinguish from a person’s natural hair growth on the remaining part of the scalp.

Surgery performed by highly skilled surgeons:

After hair follicles are harvested from the donor site they are dissected and trimmed to preserve each follicle and to prevent any damage that could compromise the viability of the newly transplanted hair.

Following dissection and trimming, the follicular unit groupings of one, two, three, or four hairs are individually and meticulously implanted into each recipient site in the new hairline.

For many patients, only two or three graft sessions may be necessary to yield a completely satisfactory result.

Once the new hair grows there is no need for special care or maintenance; the transplanted hair will continue to grow naturally.
